The following files contain information from the embedded EXIF tags extracted from images taken by Nikon D200 cameras during daily sorties conducted by the Texas Civil Air Patrol. The geographic coordinates for each exposure represent the nadir point below the aircraft.

The imagery posted on this site is mirrored from the Hurricane Ike NOAA Emergency Response Imagery website. http://ngs.woc.noaa.gov/ike/index.html This imagery was acquired on September 14-17 by the NOAA Remote Sensing Division using two Applanix Digital Sensor System fram cameras flown on Cessna Citation and Gulfstream Jetprop Commander aircraft to support federal and state emergency response requirements. Please note that these images are corrected and rotated. The approximate ground sample distance (GSD) for each pixel is 50 cm (1.64 feet). The images were collected with 60 percent frame overlap. Image file sizes range between 1 MB and 3 MB. |
